Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using DiggerPocket ("the Service"), including the Digger price-comparison tool and the Atlas shop/bar directory, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What the Service Is
Digger looks up records by photo or text and shows prices gathered from third-party marketplaces (Discogs, eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, popsike) plus a video preview from YouTube. DiggerPocket does not sell anything itself — all purchases happen on the third-party site you're redirected to.
Atlas is a crowd-sourced, wiki-style directory of record shops and listening bars. Anyone can add or edit a listing without creating an account.
3. User Contributions
If you submit or edit a shop/bar listing or photo on Atlas, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant DiggerPocket a license to display, store, and edit it as part of the Service.
Because Atlas is open-edit, any listing you submit can later be changed or removed by another user or by the operator.
4. Accuracy of Prices and Information
Prices, availability, identification results, and shop/bar details are sourced from third parties or from AI/user input and may be inaccurate, outdated, or changed by the source at any time. Always confirm details on the destination site before buying anything.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. DiggerPocket does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of DiggerPocket is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on price data or purchases made on third-party sites.
7. Third-Party Links
The Service links out to third-party marketplaces and video platforms. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, which DiggerPocket does not control.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Don't submit spam, illegal content, or knowingly false listings, and don't attempt to abuse, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Questions can be sent to sato-s@ideo.co.jp.
